Working very closely with Oracle's senior management, we assisted with the definition of the customer journey and user experience, with the help of their graphic designer. Once screen designs and functionality were agreed, we took complete technical responsibility for designing the infrastructure and database, coding all pages and building interfaces to 3rd parties. Additional features included dynamic generation of customer policies in PDF format, integration with the end insurer, switchable single- or multi-page format for the main application form, a full admin portal allowing for complete customisation and control of the site together with comprehensive reporting, plus an affiliate portal for external traffic generators to track their leads and conversions.

The Moneytree (demo available at demo.the-moneytree.co.uk) was just one implementation of a package developed by us for the consumer finance market. The application features integration with multiple third parties, with these interfaces defined via admin templates requiring no programming. All text and content is not only database driven (maintained via WYSIWYG editors in the admin portal), but is fully customisable by affiliate level, allowing affiliates to incorporate their own branding. A further level of customisation is at website domain level; a single instance of the application can run under multiple domains with an entirely different look-and-feel (delivered by CSS) for each, together with separate branding and even pricing, payment and offering options.

Our client asked us to take an existing desktop application written in VB6, and create a single-page ASP.Net webpage with the same functionality and look-and-feel. The tool takes a custom script font, containing additional "alternative" character glyphs, and performs randomised substitutions on certain character groups to create a much more natural-looking text than standard script fonts.
